Do you want to knock your customer's socks off? Do you want to deliver disruptive innovation? Do you want to part of the solution not the problem?
Join us in taking massive action on unmet health needs!
We are building a non profit global community of passionate like-minded people to curate and syndicate solutions to outstanding health and healthcare problems.
We will be finding out where things are working and where things are not from the people who know best - the patients themselves. We will also hear from medical experts and health service managers about their organisational challenges.
Then we will challenge the global might of MedTech and health care systems to take action and make an impact.
Now that is mighty big.
MISSION MEDTECH
Unmet medical device needs to diagnose and treat rare diseases* based on a survey of experts
People in Europe overweight or obese
European healthcare budget spent on chronic diseases
The known number of incurable diseases
Collectively rare diseases are not rare. A conservative estimate is 4% of the world's population.
10% of people were suffering from serious mental illness before COVID lock down and yet only c. 3% of the worlds budget was and is spent on mental health.
There are many cases where drug treatments improve disease symptoms but make no impact on survival, because of serious unwanted side effects.
Many patients suffer a lifetime of chronic and debilitating conditions and increased healthcare risks resulting from the unwanted effects of today's treatment options.
Many of these treatment survivors are lost to follow up after five years and are left to struggle alone.
A third of all the world's deaths are attributable to cardiovascular disease and many of these are preventable.
Join our community of design thinkers and innovators to build new solutions to unmet needs.
